We build toward WCAG 2.2 AA.

This statement covers blackboxsitedesign.com. It is not a certificate from a third-party audit. If a page blocks you, write and we will fix the barrier.

What we aim for

Pages use semantic HTML, one h1, visible keyboard focus, and text that meets contrast in both the dark theme and the light theme. Forms have labels. The quote wizard can be completed with a keyboard. The command palette opens with Command-K or Control-K.

Motion and the hero

The hero is a decorative gradient. If your system asks for reduced motion, that motion does not run and a static wash remains. The cursor spotlight and the magnetic pull on buttons also stay off in that case. Counters jump to their final numbers instead of ticking.

Known limits

  • The hero graphic has no text alternative beyond the heading already on the page, because it is decorative.
  • The teaching gauge is an illustration. The number is in text beside it.
  • We have not commissioned an external WCAG audit of this marketing site.

Contact

If you hit a barrier, email hello@blackboxsitedesign.com or use the contact form. Say which page and what you were trying to do. We treat that as a bug.
